**NEW**- OB/GYN NURSE PRACTITIONER NOW AVAILABLE AT BARQUIST!
We are pleased to announce a joint endeavor between Barquist AHC and WRNMMCto provide routine OB care and Well-woman exams/gynecology for our enrolled beneficiaries. With the recent retirement of our fulltime Nurse Midwife, we had to temporarily suspend these services. The new visiting provider will begin seeing patients in February, and will be available 2 days a month. OB patients are still required to schedule their OB orientation and initial OB appointment at Walter Reed. Thereafter, all uncomplicated OB patients have the option of being followed at Barquist through their 34th week gestation, after which they will transfer their care back to Walter Reed for their final visits and delivery. You may call the Barquist appointment line to schedule your Well Woman Appointment (Pap), routine gynecology appointment or follow-up OB visit. To get a referral for your initial appointment/OB orientation at Walter Reed, please contact your PCM for a referral.

Every pregnancy is unique, and Walter Reed wants to ensure an individualized care plan for each expectant mother. Please call (301) 295-5552 to schedule your appointment at Walter Reed.
